The Working Principle of Double-shaft Blender:
Double-shaft Mixing Machine(or Mixer) is an equipment and unique mixer which is used for uniform mixing and blending of dry Powders & grains. It is one of the simplest forms of mixer which consist of two cones whose openings are offset to each other along its axis to provide uniform mixing (See fig ). This offset of the taper cone helps entire mass inside the cone mixer to tumble up & down compared to simple cone mixer. Double cone mixer is used to mix gaur dal with water in guar gum plant and homogeneous lubrication of granules, grains, powder in most of the industries.
